OBD-II CAN Bus GPS Dev Kit

OBD-II, or On-Board Diagnostics, is a system that enables a vehicle to self-diagnose and report issues with its various subsystems. OBD systems allow the vehicle owner or repair technician to access the status of these subsystems.

The development kit allows you to access the CAN bus of your vehicle through the OBD-II connector. It can be plugged into the OBD-II port of your vehicle. The base board of the development kit is equipped with an RP2040 microprocessor.

The CAN-Bus library, available through the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE), can be used to write sketches that send and receive messages on the CAN bus network and also extract useful data from these messages. The output data can be accessed through the Micro-USB port or stored on a microSD card (not included) through the microSD slot.

The main board in the kit is based on the MCP2551 CAN transceiver and MCP2515 CAN receiver, which support baud rates from 5kb/s to 1Mb/s.

The GPS breakout on the base board allows you to track your vehicle by logging GPS data to a microSD card (not included).

Overall, this development kit offers a great way to hack and customize your vehicle. Please note that a microSD card is not included in the package.
