This RTC module uses a low-cost, high-precision DS3231 chip. With an external high-precision crystal oscillator, you can achieve an accuracy of only one minute a year. In addition to the timing function, DS3231 also integrates some other functions. For example, the device integrates a digital temperature sensor, which can be accessed through the I2C interface alignment.
